Live printing with Print Club Torino Graphic Days Print Parade

From May 4 to 14 2023 Cavallerizza Reale in Turin will be transformed into a large laboratory dedicated to printing: exhibitions, performances, talks, live printing sessions and workshops will present experiences from the five continents, showing how an idea is transformed into a tangible product.

Saturday 13 May 2023, together with Print Club Torino we will print my illustration live in Risograph.

Is a technique halfway between screen printing and off-set printing; banana paper matrices and soy-based inks are its peculiarities. The overlapping semi-transparent inks allow for infinite color effects. It allows to reach a high number of copies, guaranteeing high energy savings. Erroneously, the name Risograph does not derive from the use of rice paper sheets as matrices, but from the word “Riso”, which means “ideal”.

The protagonists of my Artwork enjoy the sun of these first days of early summer.

The work was created during the Print Parade edition of the Graphic Days. A3 Limited edition, signed by the artist, printed in two-color risograph. Fedrigoni paper, Woodstock birch 285 g/m2
